Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This policy covers cronsaidwhat.com. It is written to be read rather than to cover every eventuality, so it says plainly what happens to information when you use this site.

The short version

Whatever you type or paste into the tool on this site stays in your browser. It is not uploaded, not logged, and not stored on any server. There are no accounts, you are not asked for any personal information, and nothing here sets a cookie that follows you around.

What the tool does with your input

The tool on this page runs entirely as code inside your browser. When you paste a value, the conversion or calculation happens on your own device and the result is displayed locally. Nothing is transmitted anywhere as part of that process, and the page continues to work if you disconnect from the internet after loading it.

Some tools remember your settings — for example which cities you have added — using your browser's local storage. That data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser's settings for this site.

Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider, which records standard technical information when a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user agent string. This is used to serve the site, protect it from abuse, and produce aggregate traffic counts. It is not combined with anything you type into the tool, because that never reaches a server in the first place.

Advertising

This site is set up to carry advertising supplied by Google AdSense, which is what pays for the domain and hosting. No advertisements are being displayed yet — the account is still under review — but Google's advertising tag is already present on these pages, so the disclosure below applies from now rather than from whenever ads first appear.

Google and its partners may set cookies or read existing ones in order to serve and measure advertisements, and may use information about your visits to this and other websites to show ads relevant to you.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for your consent before any advertising cookie is set, using Google's certified consent management platform. You may accept, refuse, or choose in detail which purposes you allow, and you can change that decision at any time by clearing this site's cookies and reloading the page.

You can review and adjust the advertising Google shows you, on this site and elsewhere, at My Ad Center. Google's own explanation of how it uses data from sites that show its ads is at How Google uses information from sites that use its services .

Analytics

This site uses a privacy-preserving analytics service provided by our hosting provider to count visits and measure how quickly pages load. It does not set cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not assign you an identifier — which means it cannot follow you between visits or between websites.

What it records is limited to the page requested, the referring page if there is one, and coarse technical details such as browser, operating system, device type, and country. That is reported to us only in aggregate. There is no session recording, no heatmap, no profile, and nothing that identifies you as an individual.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, data protection law gives you the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to it being processed. In practice there is very little to ask about here: we hold no accounts, no email addresses, and no record of anything you have typed into a tool. The only personal data involved is the IP address in our hosting provider's server logs, which is retained on a rolling short-term basis for security and abuse prevention.

Advertising data is a separate matter, and requests about it are best directed to Google, which acts as its own controller for that purpose.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes — for example, introducing analytics — will be reflected here before they take effect.
